Little Bang
I liked this book because it compares to the real world. Also, I liked that it allowed us to read about all the different characters and get to know them. I had a lot of fun reading this book as the storyline was interesting and the way the author layed it out made it a lot of fun to read.

The Final Year
I quite literally gasped when I read the last line of this book as I had no clue it was possible to so perfectly sum up such a beautiful story that has been so masterfully written with something so bittersweet. I adored the nostalgia that it had given me. It is a perfect reminder that there will be a light at the end the end of your tunnel, and according to Mr Joshua 'In the darkness we find our people'.

Treacle Town
I liked this book very much as it had a very interesting story and teaches people about gang life and the troubles of it. I would recommend this book to others as it had good characters.

The Things We Leave Behind
The Things We Leave Behind by Clare Furniss is a compelling dystopian YA novel set in a near-future Britain under authoritarian rule. It follows Clem and her half-sister Billie as they escape a collapsing London, grappling with family secrets and survival. The book's emotional depth and timely themes make it a poignant exploration of resilience and identity.

Little Bang
I believe the Little Bang was interesting. This book shows people how it feels to be a girl or boy in the situation in the book. Personally I would not read this book again as it is not for me. However I would suggest this book to other girls.

Treacle Town
When I say this book opened my eyes, it wasn't like gently waking from a dream, but being grabbed by the shoulders by Conor himself and having your eyes forced open. The characters were so well written, that at times they felt real, which only added to the sense of tragedy. I am very attached to this book now, and I am well aware it will haunt me for a long time to come.

All That It Ever Meant
'All That it Ever Meant' by Blessing Musariri was a story about a girl whose mother has died and how life is without her. Mati is the main character who is passionate about how a storyline isn't just one story line instead it is made up of multiple anecdotes that she tells to someone only she can see- Meticais. However the book is unique as there are certain aspects of the character that can only be found out later in the story such as her name. This was truly a spectacular book as it has twists no one would be able to see coming!

Play
I really enjoyed the book, I think it uses the multiple perspectives very well and offers a good insight into the realities of growing up. I liked how each character was written and seeing how they view themselves compared to how others see them. Also, I do like how the story was able to balance being chaotic and eventful but also insightful on life. I would definitely recommend this book.

Little Bang
I liked how in this book you saw both perspectives and as a teenager I thought the characters were well thought out and the information was well spread out throughout the book. I enjoyed how it took on the topic of teen pregnancies and showed the complex changing emotions many go through. I enjoyed it and would read it again!! x

All That It Ever Meant
I really enjoyed the book, the beginning felt confusing however when I got to the end I realised it was meant to be like that. The way the book was written made the plot twist at the end unexpected but it completed the book really nicely. I would recommended this book, as it was amazing and kept me invested in the story.

Treacle Town
This book perfectly represents grief and the struggles of finding ways to deal with it. The poetry works very well to describe the current political and economic state in Scotland and even some parts of England making it easy to relate to or at least understand what they're talking about, I also adore the use of slang in this book as it gives a more authentic feel. Overall, this book was a wonderful read and I would 100% recommend giving it a try, although some phrases they use, ("gaff" - house, "coupon" - face, etc...), once you get the hang of it the book is a splendid mix of camaraderie and loss.

The Final Year
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I loved the deepness of it and how it wasn't afraid to show both sides of loss and neglect. I thought it was written well and I loved the interesting layout of the book with titles and the layout when describing a character to represent the character too. I really enjoyed it and found it a good read!

King of Nothing
The book was interesting and shows the life of a student accurately. I think it had a lot of key moments, and in the end, Anton goes to the right friend. It also taught me that every choice I make has a consequence, whether it's good or bad. Overall, I enjoyed reading the book.
