Waddesdon Shadowers
The Final Year
I like how the book is written as a poem however it is sometimes hard to decipher. It is about a boy called Nate in year five transitioning into year six and the challenges that he goes through during year six. The book keeps you entertained and intrigued. The Final Year was easy to relate to. Matt Goodfellow the Author did a good job in describing Nates emotions, he also added some humour into it. I would recommend it to many.

King of Nothing
The book that I think is the best is King of Nothing. I like how the story is set around about our year and some of the things that happen are quite ordinary and are things that could happen in a normal school day. I also liked how Anton came to terms about what his life should be like and how he should live it. So overall, I like how Anton changes throughout the story. I would recommend this book to ages 11-15.

King of Nothing
This is a story about a boy called Anton who is the king of the school and has a large friend group. However when he got into trouble in school, his Mum forced him to go to a camp with an unpopular kid he does not like and his life changes after that. Overall I really enjoyed the book and I would recommend reading it.

All That It Ever Meant
I found this book very hard to get into and as a result, I have only read half of it. The story line is good but it is hard to follow as it is very slow and then very fast at the start. I find it difficult to tell whether what I'm reading is actually happening or if it is a dream. However, I like the descriptions in it as I find it easy to picture the settings in my head. In my opinion, I was not a massive fan of this book.

King of Nothing
A moving and powerful book that is bound to keep you on the edge of your seat with many plot twists and unexpected moments. I highly recommend reading it, you'll enjoy every moment of it.

Glasgow Boys
I really enjoyed this book. I found myself almost tearing up at some moments, and laughing so much that it hurt at others. I was able to relate to some of this book, which made the emotions feel so much more real. I would strongly recommend to teenagers - specifically 13/14 year olds - to read Glasgow Boys.

The Final Year
A moving book about a boy named Nate who has to go through his last year in Primary school. He suffers problems at home, his friend is split up from him in another class and he finds he becomes friends with his new teacher. I think this book is good because it goes through nates problems with having to move up a year and how he deals with it on top of the problems at home.

The Final Year
I loved the style of this book and how it was written like a poem. I also found it interesting how it was written in an informal style and separated into short verses. Altogether, a great book!

The Things We Leave Behind
I found this book engaged me from the beginning, it kept my interest from jumping from past, present and future events. It made me think of current events in the world and what could be if we don’t make a change. The beginning set the mood of the book, the middle kept me guessing and wanting to know more and the ending completely caught me off guard. I really enjoyed this read.

King of Nothing
Anton ruled the school alongside his friends but that all changed when his mother sent him to a camp with the happy campers. Once he realised he would have to spend the weekend with one of the biggest losers in the school he was sure his reputation was in jeopardy. However when the loser saved his life he was forced to reassess his values.
