Glasgow Boys
I really enjoyed this book, I would recommend it to maybe older kids, for example it would definitely not be suitable for a 5 year old though that seems kind of obvious. I like how its written and the plot, and the way it kind of makes you feel bad for multiple characters. you get to see everyone's side of the story and feel guilt for the characters and the story's. The way every person in the story has a different background, culture and like plot/story of their own definitely makes it more interesting, this book is one of my favourites.

Treacle Town
I didn't like this book as much as I thought I would however that was mainly because this book isn't really my style of genre. I am sure it is more appealing to other people even though I was not one of them. I do think the authors writing style is good (other than the long paragraphs), just not a genre I would read.

King of Nothing
I loved this book! i have just finished reading 'king of nothing' and i am very pleased of how the story ended. The book is about a teenager called Anton who is known for being feared in school with the rest of his gang, everything seems to be going normal until a certain classmate makes him realise that this role could not be as good as Anton may think...?
I really enjoyed reading this book, i really liked the plots to the story and also how to book can be somewhat relatable especially in our modern era, the book does represent how secondary school can be challenging and also it mainly focuses on how a individual is represented which can have conflicting thought especially when children want to "fit in". like everyone else. My favourite character was Matthew, i really liked how the character was presented and how the way he acted was super funny.
However, i did find it a struggle to care for some characters including the first few characters at the start of the book. I actually didn't quite like the gang that Anton was in because there views on certain topics made it quite a struggle to read. I was quite happy that there was a good ending and how all the characters were able to find solutions to their problems.
If you are a fan of both comedy and action pact story lines then i would highly recommend this book. It keeps you interested and makes you keep guessing on what will happen next. Overall, this was a good book to read but i don't think it's my kind of book or genre that i would read again, however this book was a alright read and would recommend to anyone who enjoys this kind of story.

Play
This book is really good, I'd say it's more for a mature audience as it has some pretty serious topics. It shows really well how people can be different or can be pushed to do things that arent good for them or others because of pressure around them and i really like this book!

The Final Year
This was a very emotional book, its about leaving year six so if you are currently leaving primary, I would highly recommend this book.

The Final Year
I would recommend this book to people in the last year of primary but you have to be a tough person to do this because it is very emotionally sad
