Birdie
Great book. I enjoy the fact that it was based a long time ago. I really like the backstory/true story behind it. I recommend this for ages 8+ and i rate it 7/10.

Not Going To Plan
it seemed interesting. i liked how the text was in the book . but unfortunately i couldn't follow the story because it was boring. zed was too obnoxious. marnie was an annoying brat and i hated her . she gave up on a great oppurtunity just because she thought she was cool

Wolf Siren
I enjoy this one as it shows how people take things to extremes and presents how quickly people can change their views and opinions through half stories and other people's opinions. the cover and overall vibe of the book is aimed at the younger generation, which is the age group I think is most fitting, it lets children see both perspectives and allows them to make their own choices on how they want to perceive issues and bias around them, and for boys letting them see sexism and how women can be treated.

The Boy I Love
it was an amazing book. way better than the rest in my opinion. I loved how it portrayed what gay men went through in the war. and the ways they had to hide their sexuality.
i love gay books the have great stories , this was a phenomenal example . i would love to read more books like this

Birdie
This book is a tender, emotional exploration of belonging but also the theme of racism and animal friendship. I loved it because of its warm, loving plot and themes of friendship linking into everything within the book. This story is also within the spectrum of pony and equestrian themes so those who like ponies would enjoy this book thoroughly. This book also explores the themes of identity but also constantly juxtaposes the readers opinions of animals as it constantly presents animals (ponies) are spent underground in perpetual darkness, which is extremely sad to see. I was really invested in this book and it was so emotionally triggering to read.

Popcorn
the way the book is written feels like an elder person trying to be relatable to kids of this generation.

Birdie
its a very simple and childish book. Not many of the characters are likeable and they are all one dimensional. The language they use in the book, for example' thou' feels very out of place with the other modern language and feels like its trying to be quirky

The Boy I Love
This book was an amazing sense of war but also relationships, the plot advances at a steady pace while collectively introducing characters through the use of many nouns and adjectives to describe their personalities. Hussey does a good job at juxtaposing the trench warfare and battle, which differs from the love story throughout the entire book. Beyond the warfare in the book, the book tackles / brings attention to the social prejudices and opposition that gay / queer soldiers has to endure on top of the physical trauma and drama of the war itself.

Twenty Four Seconds from Now
This has to be my favorite of all the books i've read so far. Its presents to the reader an intimate scene, but the mood then immediately ruined by him leaving in a panic. This prompts you to ask why, and an answer is then given in the next chapter. The reptitition of the number 24 holds interest to me. The book is laid out in a manner which gives you installments of 24, but in a reverse chronological order. Aria and Neon, the main charachters, are written very well, allowing the reader to see Neons anxiety without explicitly stating it. His family are also extremely well written, his sister, Nat, for example, is a confident person, she is set to take over his family business, which makes you feels proud for her. It uses literary devices easily and allows you into a realistic scene, you can tell the author enjoyed writing this book.

Not Going To Plan
I see this book in many ways, its written in a way which lets you switch between many perspectives quickly and seamlessly, and it carries a message that appears to be controversial, the relationships between the characters interest me the most, as while Harry was in a relationship, he cheats on her in favor of someone he barely knew. Zed has an interesting character arc, this is because he appears first as a priveliged academic, that looks down on others judgementally, but we follow him as he accepts marine and then later attending a youth group with Luca, willing to help marnie with hiding what she needs hidden, by essentially cancelling his dreams to help her. The ending is one i adore, this is because it shows both sides of the situation, shows how people tend to limit the exposure of controversial material in favor of the safer option of hiding it, then taking credit once positively revealed. It handles topics with care and its why i enjoy this book

Twenty Four Seconds from Now
He expresses how hard it is to be a teen in this modern era, and this book is great. Also it is a tender, funny and emotionally honest coming-of-age novel.

Chronicles of a Lizard Nobody
It is a good book with many twists and stayed on the storyline with new friends and many characters were introduced well, good book.

Ghostlines
good book lots of detail. i liked how Albie was a sort of shy character at the start but really adventurous and extravagant towards the end. I'm not a huge fan of throwing up so i didn't enjoy reading that part. also i didn't really feel that the puff release was that big in the story, i sort of felt that the island was way more dominant . suggest this book for 9+ 6.5/10

Popcorn
Overall I think popcorn is a good well rounded book and readers can really relate to it . In my opinion I found at the beginning it was a bit dry and overwhelmed you with description It had a good story line if it could be improved I would say the writer could have made it more exiting at the start to draw the reader in. I would rate the book 4 stars out of 5.
Bella
Chronicles of a Lizard Nobody

I like this book because it is very bold
Amelia
The Boy I Love
Its a good book however it is not very well thought out, most things happen just by chance and the characters are very 1 dimensional. The book ends very abruptly in the middle of the war and, any plot holes are left without any resolve. The story is quite sweet but unsatisfying.
