Lord of the Flies: The Graphic Novel
Lord of the Flies is an intense but intriguing book. The Illustrations really bring it to life, especially when there is death/drama. The illustrations are rather squeamish and gory but very detailed. Sometimes, the imagery got my heart beating with nerves, for it was very graphic. I would recommend it to older readers. Overall, my rating was 8.5 / 10, as I felt it could have flowed a little bit better.

Popcorn
I found Popcorn an enthralling read, it focused on anxiety and the effect it has on a person’s day to day life. However, the plot also proved that even if you have anxiety or are struggling with worries, then good things will always follow. Popcorn is a humorous book, which has great imagery and an intriguing story line. Overall, I rate the book a 9/10, as I felt like it could be based over a few days rather than one. Being based over one day, I felt like it was confusing, for the days felt longer than they actually were.

Wildful
I found this book very heartfelt and inspiring. It shows the struggle after a loved one passes away. It also focuses on the journey getting better. The book is based on going outside when times are hard. It helps to explore the outdoors and the flora and fauna around you in your free time. You begin to notice more animals around your surroundings and different patterns they may make. In conclusion, the book shows that when you go outside, your worries start to fade and you feel free.

Wiggling Words
It is very creative using words instead of shapes creating imaginative pictures, using simple colour schemes creating a simple look which is not to overwhelming for young people. It also talks about dyslexia and it helps you understand that even if your different there is always a way to achieve your goals even if it is a bit different from someone else.

Chronicles of a Lizard Nobody
Lizard Nobody was very enjoyable it was about how a ‘nobody’ stands up to a bully and it shows that there is a good side to everyone and even though your mother could be an international supervillain you can always change and be the better person . It is all so humorous because of France on his knee.[ Very good story on how it go on his knee]. Worth it great read!

Lord of the Flies: The Graphic Novel
I would rate this book a 4.5 out of 5. The things I love about The Lord of the Flies are the beautiful illustrations. They take the main role as they paint an image whilst reading. I didn’t really like how gory it was but overall it was amazing.
