Birdie
I really enjoyed reading this book. I like how she met the Mr. Duke in the mine and started to care about him a lot and that he was her first friend there, even if he is a horse. I also like the ending when she finds out he's still alive. This book is about racism, bravery and friendship. It shows that everyone is different but unique and special at the same time. I would rate it a 9/10.

This book is a really good book with adventure and drama. This book spreads the message that everyone can make a difference and everyone can be brave. Even if nobody believes in you don't let that stop you because you can do it. My favourite part was her meeting with the pony because of the interaction. This book is really good for 9+ and I would give it an 8/10.

Chronicles of a Lizard Nobody
Chronicals of a Lizard Nobody has a storyline that is easy to follow and the use of lizards as the main characters (as lizards are "often misunderstood", as described in the book) is a great idea. The book also shows that anyone can stand up to bullies. I think the book is suitable for people age 7+ and I rate it 8.5/10

I really enjoyed this book. I would rate this book 9/10. I think that this book is good for someone who wants to read something about going somewhere new and making new friends. Its set on a island where everybody knows each other and a new boy comes and does not fit in straight a way. The main character tries to help him and they end up on a adventure they would never forget.. Overall I really enjoyed this book and recommend it.

Ghostlines
It was a really good book because it was an adventure story and generated some fear. It was really scary when her dog came of the cliff but luckily it was all right. The island was a bit suspicious but I grew to love it and love the characters. I would rate this book 7/10.

Chronicles of a Lizard Nobody
It was a good storyline but was a bit young. It was a good message about friendship and how people can change. They don't always have to be a bully and you can stand up to bullies. It will be very funny for younger readers. My rating for it: 5/10.
