King of Nothing
It is very informative and funny, but also quite sad.

Jaime

The Things We Leave Behind
It feels alarmingly close to home and makes the reader feel sorry for the protagonist.

The Final Year
The Final Year portrays a young boy with a single mother in his last year of primary school when his best friend befriends his bully and his brother is hospitalised. I like how well the layout of poems conveys the story.

Little Bang
Little Bang is a poignant portrayal of teenage pregnancy and abortion and I like how realistic it feels.

Play
'Play' by Luke Palmer is an amazing book that follows the story of four boys through their journey through school. The book was so captivating as we get to see how the story progresses through each person's perspective and their own personal and unique struggles. It also explores peer pressure and how each try to fit in into the group. There are so much going on and I absolutely love the way the book is written!

All That It Ever Meant
All That It Ever Meant is a heart breaking book about loss and I like how well the characters were built.

The Things We Leave Behind
I really enjoyed this book because it was quite fast - paced but also includes a lot of detail on how the characters were feeling. Although this is a dystopian book, it felt quite real as it was set in the near future. Some of the book was quite sad and the ending was slightly unexpected but overall, I think that it is a very hopeful story.
