This is a gem of a book, because it's about a little boy called Oktober and he didn't like the outside . One day when Oktober's family goes outside with Oktober gets lost .Then he met the wildness and they jornied home toghter.

The Search for the Giant Arctic Jellyfish
I thought the illustrations were excellent and matched the story perfectly I enjoyed looking at the pictures immensely even after I finished the book. There was a lot of detail which is just one of the reasons I enjoyed reading this book. Also the colours were so simple and yet so right for the area in which the story is set.

The Midnight Panther
The Midnight Panther is a book that have exquisite illustrations with dots and stripes that make it an amazing book. Interesting pictures that make me burst with delight. Just with wavy lines and plain dots, you can create beautiful images such as the black panther with the cream coloured moon. I love how the illustrator creates a beautiful image of the midnight panther with its expressions and how the illustrator portrays an outstanding image of the lions. I do really hope this book wins the Carnegie Medal since I think it really deserves it well. I do not think it could improve any further, so it should win the Carnegie Medal.

There was a bird that had every thing perfect he just needed to get a wife that loves him he found one he bought a flower gave it to girl bird but she did`nt like him at all but what I think the book is outstanding and lovely because he met a bird he likes

The Wilderness
I thought it was very well written but could be a bit more interesting and exciting. I enjoyed the month personality's but found a mistake on page 6 with the name October spelled as Oktober on the bed. A little more description on October who I assume is the protagonist in the story and the other characters. The illustrations were very good. I enjoyed reading this book immensely. THANK YOU!

The Bowerbird
The Bowerbird is an amazing book for all ages. When you flick to the first page, you see a wonderful drawing of a bowerbird, sitting in its twiggy nest with a pretty purple flower. Catherine Rayner has done a magnificent job on creating the bowerbird feathers, eyes and its long, colourful beak. Bert tries to make friends with the mean looking Nanette and gets coaxed by Claude, but in the end the bride is Jene. All the birds' expresssions are terrific; it is a wonder how the Bowerbird is presented in the Yoto Carnegies.

The Midnight Panther
This is an amazing book, lots of detail in the illustrations. my favourite illustrations are the ones of the wind blowing air across the two pages and the cloud spread across the two pages. I really like the colours that are used in the pictures. I also like that the panther tries to be like the other big cats, and then he then realises that he is not like the other cats and loves being himself.

I loved the book to the other side its an interesting story book i will give it a five ***** stars the illustrations blew me away the where a lot of colours

it was interesting adventures i like he was lost but a girl helped him get back to the north pole and to his family happy and safe liked when the girl helped him get back home
