Lost
Lost is a wonderful book. It's all about a polar bear that is lost in a city - maybe London. The words and illustrations both have different meanings. The illustrations are captivating as they show how claustrophobic the city is for the bear. Overall it's a wonderful book, so personally I rate this 5/5.

To the Other Side
I love how the illustrator (Erika Meza) made the pages dark and colourful at the same time. I also love the suspense and how the sister compared this dangerous challenge to a simple game and a game of tag. She says: ''avoid the monsters. Don't get caught and keep moving' and 'if the monsters catch you, you're out.''
Another great feature is how the masks the children wear are animals and they say things like "He can be brave like a tiger" considering his mask is a tiger and "She'll be fast like a rabbit" because her mask is a rabbit.
This story, which is beautifully illustrated, explores the journey of two young refugee children in search of safety. Although the journey is difficult and the monsters are more real than they imagined, they still got through it and made it to the end without getting hurt. They also made some friends along the way! I thought this was a brilliantly illustrated book where the use of colour really showed how frightening the journey was for the children and how safe they felt when they had the masks on.

The Midnight Panther
The Midnight Panther is an incredible book with lots of beautiful and intricate detail. The story has several good lessons for children too learn such as finding your true self and not being afraid to be different. This book may have lots of detail but on some pages there is an overwhelming amount! The author is an incredible lady called Poonam Mistry and has illustrated and written over 5 books like this one with the same amount of suspense and beautiful art just as delightful as this one! I would really recommend this book and her others!

The Tree and the River
The tree and theRriver has no words but the illustrations tell the story instead. It is a beautifully captured timeframe but would love it even more if it told more of a story with words too.

The Wilderness
The Wilderness is a good book. The moral I got from it was about overcoming your fears and that they can turn out to be good. The illustrations are detailed and although they tell the same story, they give more information because of all the detail, which I think is good. I would give this book an 8 out of 10.
Chloe
April's Garden
The illustrations in this book tell more of the story by using colours to show how April is feeling when she has to leave home and start a new life and thats what I like about it. As she begins to settle down and grow her garden, the illustrations become more colourful.

The Search for the Giant Arctic Jellyfish
I loved this book because they tried their very best to find the Arctic Jellyfish and believed in themselves. They stayed for a long time and were just about to run out of hope, until their dream became true, they saw the Arctic Jellyfish. The illustrations showed how the jellyfish was actually there all the time, but the scientists were never looking in the right direction at the right time!

The Tree and the River
The Tree and the River is a very interesting book because if you look through the book you could see that the town/city is growing and developing; then it starts deteriorating. But the fact that there are no words or sentences is sort of a problem in my opinion because if it any of the words and sentences then it would have been easier to understand why this was happening.

The Bowerbird
The book had beautiful illustrations. Overall, it was a good book and it told a meaningful story.

The Midnight Panther
I would rate The Midnight Panther a 9/10 because I like there are not too many words and that it has lots of colourful patterns like flowers, stars and different colours of birds. It also shows the emotions of the panther throughout. The only thing I didn't really like was that sometimes I felt there was an overwhelming amount of details .

The Search for the Giant Arctic Jellyfish
The illustrations are really great because of the vibrant colours of the jelly fish and it is all pretty detailed and makes it a lot more fun to read.
I especially like the detail in the sky for every page.
The water colour makes the book more eye-catching.
10/10!!!

To the Other Side
This book was amazing and the storyline was shown within the pictures and throughout the book it progressively got more and more colourful as the children moved from their frightening journey to a happier life. I really liked the masks as they have so much detail. On the other hand its also has lots of detail in the darker, scarier pages (when the children were on their journey) which I thought was really cool. Overall, I really liked this book which showed what the journey is like for migrating children.

The Midnight Panther
I couldn't really understand the illustration was very unique and hard to understand. I think the book had a good meaning though.

The Wilderness
I really love the book Wilderness because the first page shows you about the dangerous hazards in the woods. I also love how on the next page it has beautiful illustrations and the font is really nice on each characters name ... Especially Oktober.

The Midnight Panther
This book is very detailed. There are also multiple pictures on each page. In my opinion, I think the pictures are kind of just beautiful pictures - they don't really tell a story different from the text, and you would need the writing to understand it. There is not much writing either, so it makes the pictures the star of the show. I would probably give this book a 7 out of 10.

Lost
I loved this book because the polar bear was all alone with no one to help and he was lost in the middle of the city trying to get back home. He was trying to find his way around the city but struggled. And after he met the boy, he had someone to help him, and was sent home to the North Pole. The illustrations really added to the story, showing how overwhelming the city was to the polar bear.

The Search for the Giant Arctic Jellyfish
The Search for the Arctic Jellyfish is a fantabulous book. The text tells one story but its like the illustration is telling a completely different one. I would 100% recommend this book - go and buy and read it now!

The Search for the Giant Arctic Jellyfish
I liked the Arctic Jellyfish because it was very funny and the illustrations linked up with the story in my opinion. It had amazing illustrations and it was fun to read. My favourite part of the book was the part when they were looking for the jellyfish in the sea. Also, The beards and moustaches were funny and they changed a lot.

The Tree and the River
I really loved the book because it explains how a tree stayed in the exact same location for a large variety time. The illustration was very understandable and clear with the beautiful landscape. It is also very good that it can tell a story with just a particular amount of pictures.

The Search for the Giant Arctic Jellyfish
The Search For The Giant Arctic Jellyfish is very well illustrated and the pictures have their own little story behind it. Like on one of the last few pages you can see someone proposing which is my favourite little part of the story.

The Tree and the River
I really liked the book even though it doesn't have any writing the illustrations of the book were understandable. It was very interesting to read and it was very fun to look at. I like to look at the tree change over time and the buildings and landscape changing. My favourite part was when the buildings started to increase.

The Midnight Panther

The Search for the Giant Arctic Jellyfish
THE SEARCH FOR THE GIANT ARCTIC JELLYFISH was a great book. It did not use many colours, but that meant it had more detail and you do not really focus on the colours, more the detailed pictures. I liked the crew's hair and beards growing over the course of the quest, especially one of the crew members getting a longer beard on every page! We laughed at that! The words told a story but the pictures told an even better, more detailed story. I liked going along with the pages, eager to see what was next. I especially liked the boat, because in every room there was something interesting. We saw a couple get engaged (we think!) and the jellyfish right under their eyes the whole time. Even though the story was about the jellyfish, the illustrations took me on another journey, one about a crew and their life in the Arctic. I am a massive fan of this brilliant, extraordinary, appetising book!

The Search for the Giant Arctic Jellyfish
I really like The search for the Giant Arctic Jellyfish because it has desciptive vocabulary: words like elusive, frolic and formidable. We also like that every picture tells a different story. There is lots of depth of colour in the illustrations. I really like the cutaway illustrations of the ship because you can see what each character is doing in different rooms of the ship. The centre spread is the best because you never see the Northern lights in a book, but in this book the illustrator actually puts the Northern lights in it with the jellyfish and the crew staring up high in the sky. The page is beautiful to look at.

The Search for the Giant Arctic Jellyfish
The Search For The Giant Arctic Jellyfish is a spectacular book. Not only does it tell the story through the text, but also with the illustrations, which add a lot of extra detail and information to the story. The author really put attention to detail including the facial features of the crew members. The illustrations are stunning . I particularly love the northern lights illustration as it reminds me of when I saw them in real life. 4.9+0.1 stars out of 5!

The Tree and the River
The Tree and the River is a great illustration book for older children. It shows the past, present and future. The cool thing is the main tree is always there in every illustration. Everything changes, as does the tree, but the tree is there right to the very end. It is a heart-worming story, which I did not think was possible with no words at all. It really tells a story of change. Even without words, you can understand what's happening perfectly. I really liked it.

The Tree and the River
This book is a dystopian book for older kids showing the life of a river and a tree over time. I think it is set in the future. It has a lot of detailed illustrations and is a wordless picture book and as lots of detailed artwork inside. The book calm me and I like that the pictures allow you to make up the story without the author giving you the words.

The Midnight Panther
I think that The Midnight Panther illustrations on the front cover is very warm and they make me feel calm, relaxed. The illustrations inside of the book are very intricate and they really help show a meaning to the book. The Midnight Panther is very unique compared to others that I have read. The morale of the book is to never let anyone think for you about how you look and think about yourself not about others.

The Midnight Panther
The Midnight Panther is a book with intricate illustrations and a lot of great calming colours and with a gorgeous cover. The paragraphs are so carefully written that, that even young kids can understand! I would recommend this book to children from years 3 - 7. This book has a deep meaning behind it: you are perfect just the way you are and do not change yourself for any girl or boy. In my opinion, this is a great read for kids and adults. I rate this book a 10/10 / 5 stars!

The Midnight Panther
The book, The Midnight Panther is a really interesting book. The story is about a panther who tries to be as fearless and as dazzling as the other big cats, but he finds out that he does not need to change anything about him! The illustrations are made in a way that does not try to mimic real life, but they are made using intricate patterns, which made the book stand out to all the others in a good way. I really like the calm vibe the book gives me when I read it and the moral: no matter what others think, you are beautiful in your own way. The story is amazing, story-wise and illustration-wise!
