Wolf Siren
I really liked this book as it was written in a genre similar to an award winning book called "We're not safe here" which is one of my favourites. It is clearly based on little red riding hood as the main character is called Red and the story revolves around wolves. The fact that it is written in first person relates to the fact that she is almost blind and has to rely on the sense of touch. In summary, I really enjoyed Wolf Siren.

Wolf Siren
I love Wolf Siren by Beth O’Brien because it is an amazing rewrite of Little Red Riding Hood. The main character and author are both visually impaired, which makes the story feel really inspiring and unique. I also loved the fantasy setting and the theme of girls’ empowerment, especially when she discovers her wolf powers.

Popcorn
I think popcorn is a great book. I like how the author adds in additional tips for helping with anxiety. Overall I think it is great because it mentions bullying, OCD and anxiety and I don't know any other books that is like Popcorn.

The Spick and the Span
I think the spick and the Span is a great book for all ages because they experience having to clean all the time. It also has a great plot and lots of relatable characters too. Personally my favourite character is the frog because he goes through a lot of trauma with his dad and also because he literally got turned into a frog. The front cover art really shows how some of the characters don't like each other very much. I also love how it paints in some LGBTQIA+ as well. I loved reading this book and hope Pil van Mertin makes more books like this.

Traumaland
Trauma land is one of my favourite books for a number of reasons. I love that there are so many confusing moments where you can't tell who's lying or where the plot’s going. I also find it quite funny that they sell the memories back to people who have had them stolen by them in the first place. The story is great and doesn't focus too much on one area but it's not moving so quickly it misses things out. Trauma Land also has lots of funny moments such as Eli on the roof acting weird, or dressing as the joker for no apparent reason. The characters in Trauma Land are complicated, have very detailed histories and are deeply amusing.

Popcorn
I enjoyed this funny and emotional book about Andrew, a boy who battles anxiety about his grandmother as she disappeared. I believe that popcorn is a really good insight into childhood anxiety and has helped me realise that some people think and feel different towards problems. I think that people should often realise that others may act different because of anxiety or worry and that we should not judge them on that.

Traumaland
This is such an interesting and fun read! Such a page-turner. The book tackles trauma ,grief, abuse and more, the characters are so interesting and life-filled. The secrecy and layers of Traumaland with most of the book being the main characters trying to find out the secrets of Traumaland. Very interesting story idea and it was made perfectly. 10/10 ABSOLUTE PEAK!!! (i love violet/nisha so much.)

Shrapnel Boys
Shrapnel Boys is an amazing read that I enjoyed a lot, with its action-filled and tense story. The characters have good personalities and are quite funny at times, and the plot is very intriguing and tense. I would recommend this book to others for its tense story.

The Boy I Love
This was an amazing book! To show how hard it was for LGBTQIA+ people back in those days is incredible. Stephen is such an interesting character for me. He is so stone faced and mysterious at the start but begins to soften up once him and Danny spend more time together. Danny is almost as intriguing as Stephen, from his background to the way that he acts. This book was awesome, would totally recommend!

The Boy I Love
I loved this book. I was emotionally compelling and brought light to a time of war. The slow burn felt perfectly paced and I really felt connected to the characters. Some were well written enough for me to despise them. It did well not idolising WW1 without making it a depressing book.
