I didn't find the cover very appealing which put me off picking this book up but the story was actually okay. However, it seems like it was written by someone much older pretending to be a young person and the plot twist felt unnecessary as if it didn't fit into the story.

The Things We Leave Behind
Really good storytelling and very nice use of narration. I liked it a lot. The plot twist felt like it fit in nicely but it was so sad! I really liked all of the characters, especially when the main character was in the village.

Little Bang
I liked this story but I felt that the girls perspective was a very simple storyline, although I did really like her and her narration. The boys storyline was a bit more complicated but it felt a little confused. Overall I really liked the book and it's telling an important story.

The Things We Leave Behind
I absolutely loved this book and the way it was written. Books very rarely bring me to tears but the end of this one did - I just wanted to give the main character a hug. I found many parts of the characters relatable and kept wanting to give advice to them. It was so sad and really reflected issues in the world today. This book left me with so many emotions and tears and I rate it 10,000/10!

I really liked the way the backstory was mixed through the whole book. It was very interesting and held my attention very well throughout the book. It was very emotional and just great! 9.5/10
