Shrapnel Boys
This book is really good - it focuses on WWII in London for once. I like it because usually WWII books with kids as the main characters are about their evacuation experiences. this book, on the other hand, talks about the life of a boy within London during the time of war. it must be pretty hard to be him because he thinks this guy is pretty sus but everyone else doesnt and kinda likes him. Ok long story short this book is great everyone read it!

Wolf Siren
I love this book! It has such a good twist on a fairy tale we all know! Its very origional and everybodys not quite as they seem, I think it is a 11+ but I would rate the actual book 9/10!! <3 <3

Shrapnel Boys
This book has a fabulous setting, it is really interesting as the theme is familiar but Pearson takes a spin on it!! It makes you feel what the boys are going through and their feelings towards the war!

The Spick and the Span
This book is amazing, it is so unpredictable as the twists and turns of the charecters and the complex situation of the vortex. Martin created a truly origional world with interesting charecters and stories!

Popcorn
I liked Popcorn because it is about a boy called Andrew who can't cope with anxiety and there are really fun pictures to illustrate the words. I would recommend this book for ages 9+, and for people who like books about anxiety. It is also quite funny and Andrew has lots of accidents during the day, such as standing up to bullies and has mishaps in P.E.
