Not Going To Plan
This book was a 10/10 for me . I absolutely loved the poem style and dual narrative and could not get enough of Marnie and her quirky way of showing her creativity . I also could really relate to Zed being viewed as weird by others but not caring and still forming such meaningful relationships with his friends . The only thing that I would change was the fact that you didn’t end up knowing their GCSE results . But the two characters with such different personalities makes this book relatable to everyone in at least one way. Incredible read

Twenty Four Seconds from Now
This book is incredible ! The writing style is so gripping and NO SPOILERS but I loved the way that Aria and Neon met . I highly recommend however for the mature themes I would say that is should be for 12+ .Perfect for anyone who loves a good storyline and a romance .

Chronicles of a Lizard Nobody
I felt this book was aimed at younger ages. However, the storyline line was quite good ,and a similar book without the fantasy could have been made for an older age group. If I had been younger, maybe I would have enjoyed it more. The concepts in the book were realistic even if the way they were presented unrealistic. I didn't enjoy this book so much, but perhaps it would be better aimed at different age groups without the bits that were impossible and unrealistic.

Popcorn
Popcorn was an amazing read! It was funny, yet relatable. If you were experiencing anxiety, it would be a comfort to know others are going through the the same thing. I love the popcorn scale, but when I first choose the book, the title confused me! I liked the drawings but they could make people feel self conscious about having panic attaks.

Wolf Siren
I liked this book because it demonstrates how everyone is different in different ways. Red feels she doesn't belong in the village but feels most at home in the forrest where nature is her best friend. She then discovers a big secret about her family as well as her
Grandma ; as secrets unfold, she realises there are some untrustworthy people roaming in her village. She has an adventure and discovers that she has a family of a different species. One reason I liked the book is because it demonstrates how animals are as alive as humans. My favourite character was Aerona and Delena as they both stuck with her especially Delena because even though they didn'

Ghostlines
I really enjoyed this book as I found it really descriptive and the story line works really well. The book shows a boy coming into a new place and at first it seems like his entire life is being taken away from him. He befriends Tilda and eventually he starts to feel at home on this brand new island. They have adventures together and soon they both start to realise that home doesn't have to be just one place. This shows us that sometimes change can be scary but you will start to enjoy it if you give it a chance

Birdie
I thought birdie was quite a good book as the girl builds some strong relationships with a horse when everyone else rejects her. Slowly people begin to realise that the colour of there skin does not define who she is but her kindness.

Wolf Siren
I liked the uniqueness of the main character, and how the author brought to life an unrecognised disability. Also, I liked the idea to base it on little red riding hood.

Ghostlines
I love this book! In some books you don't feel you know the characters, but Katya Balen has lifted that veil. At some points, it feels a bit cliche, but the big twist at the end was worth the wait! I love the idea of an island sanctuary- highly reccomended!
