The Things We Leave Behind
Out of the 8 carnegie books my favourite book was the things we leave behind. this dystopian novel is right down my street it was emotional full of twists and turns so you never really know what was going to happen. the most shocking section of the book was when Billie died this made me feel more attached to the storey line and understand the realism within the novel it felt. it also makes you feel scared as this could turn into a reality. I would read more but this arthor

Glasgow Boys
Glasgow boys was an emotional book as it shows the trauma of the boys in foster care and how they have grow up and connect to survive this environment, interesting to see a different way of life and felt sad for the boys because of past experiences. The book was written in an easy to read style and would read other by this author

All That It Ever Meant
All that it ever meant was an emotional ride of comfort and empathy. The plot twist was so simple but so shocking, evoking a strange sense of tranquility in me. The writing of the author was simple enough to understand as well although the different relationships and names of their native home did confuse me a little but nothing major to affect the storyline incredibly. Overall, this book has made me to realise the value of finding your inner self and how to be yourself.
