Bogle’s Book Worms
Treacle Town
This book is not in the correct age range and the language is very appalling. In my personal opinion I do not recommend this book.

The Final Year
This book is very interesting with lots of plot twists and a suspension at the end. this book is relatable in bits of the story. Overall, I recommend this book to people who are getting started in reading or like calm yet some suspense in a book.

Treacle Town
Treacle Town by Brian Conaghan is a great book it shows the theme of gang violence I really liked the book as the gang can see no future for them but will soon change as they get interested in slam poetry. Overall I really liked the book!

Glasgow Boys
I really disliked this book for the reason that while it is aimed at 13+, the amount of swearing on almost every page made the book difficult to read,un enjoyable and annoying,I felt that much swearing was unecceasry. On the other hand, the plot was heartfelt and the bond between the two boys was nice as the both related to foster care,I agree that this creates an emotional bond with the reader which supports the event that happen within the story such as violent fighting/bullying.

Play
Overall,I thoroughly enjoyed the book despite the topics being slightly more aimed at older children. I believe the message in this book is important and hence everyone should one day get to read this,if not something similar. Furthermore,I particularly enjoyed the cyclical structure and the way and emotional connection was built with the character as it really impacted the strength of the resolution. I will however admit that I am reather uncertain as to why the male characters are named after males in the bible and there isn't a section in the story or and authors note that explains the decision, even tho they seem to play a big role in the story line.

The Final Year
The final year was an amazing book, that covered real topics. What happened to the brother was so unexpected and sad, but it all tied together in the end perfectly. The poems were very varied and the writing style flowed very well. The poems showcased a range of a emotions, that capture the final year of primary.

The Things We Leave Behind
This book was heart breaking but it's sad that this is a reality for some people who have to face what Clem had to go through. The plot twist was so unexpected and I love the counsellor as it added lots of depth to the book. Finally, I loved how it was very realistic and didn't have your typical happy ending.

The Final Year
I would recommend this book to others because it covers very serious topic but it has a very unique writing style that makes the book flow and easier to follow. The storyline is also very interesting and makes you want to keep reading. I also really enjoyed finding out what happened to his brother.

King of Nothing
It's a very good book because it shows that even kids that might be strange can have a better heart than kids who are socially cool. Its shown when Kelhinde sets the project that he had been working on on fire. True friends wouldn't do things like that and is revealed that Matthew would even risk his life for him. Overall I loved this book and the slang!
