Looooove this book. it has so much meaning but very little words. it doesnt say what it means but it means what is says- no words are needed. clearly uses words to bring the message without directly saying it.

Shrapnel Boys
Shrapnel boys is set just before World War 2 to the middle of the blitz. takes place in London while England is surrounded by Germany. Main character Ronnie is best friends with his brother Micky and his friends Lugs. There is a man called Johnny who Micky suspects that is a criminal. And Johnny has wormed his way into Ronnie's family and is doing someting secertive with Micky and Lugs and Ronnie are trying to uncover Johnny's secret. It is a good book, I do recommend it for 9-15 yr olds. I learnt about what London was like during the blitz

Lord of the Flies: The Graphic Novel
Its not for squeamish people. There is blood, violence, death and murder. Some parts are extremely graphic, too graphic even. It shows people reverting back to primitive nature of survival. It's a good book but really dark.

Fia and the Last Snow Deer  
Handles more adult themes like deah and the after life really well. It sends a good message about even if your angry with family, you still love them. The journey to the 'The Deer Mother' was fun but the ending of actually finding her home was rushed.

Popcorn is an amazing book. It is very emotional and funny at the same time. At times, it is also very relatable. The book "Wonder" is a very similar book just even better.

The book is called The Endless Sea. i thought it was very realistic, but maybe lacking a little bit of detail. The pictures were pleasant, but the colours were a bit drab.
