I love the message this book sends! I like how the characters and building were created, I love how the issue was resolved and I love the friendship that was created! I really love the illustrations and how realistic they seem. In my opinion this book should be read to every kid in primary schools to allow them to understand the idea of peace and friendship. This was a very fantastic book!

The Endless Sea
This book was sad but it spreads the message of how some people must leave their homes using dangerous methods. I liked it and i loved when they got saved, it made me feel for the people who have to do this just to escape a country that should've been safe. It makes you think of the many people whose lives were lost due to them not being fortunate enough to be saved and unfortunately drowned. This book spreads an important message, and in my opinion it should be read to all kids to show them the wider world.

Lord of the Flies: The Graphic Novel
I adored this book! I loved reading the novel itself but sometimes i had trouble imagining what happens and imagine something wrong altogether, this graphic novel makes it easier to read and enjoy. I loved the designs of the boys and the details Aimee added to everything. Every page i flipped made me hooked even more. Overall i would say that this book was absolutely fantastic and good read. I loved how the tense moments were portrayed and how the deaths of Simon and Piggy were drawn. I loved this graphic novel so much!

The Boy I Love
I absolutely loved this book. Hussey researched a lot for this book and it clearly shows in how accurate and realistic it is. Sometimes it felt like I was literally in the trenches with the characters. Additionally, it’s so great to see representation of queer people in literature, especially because at that time being gay was not just frowned upon, but seen as condemnable.

Freedom Braids
The book was so informative. I loved the beautiful design of braids and enjoyed learning about the history of braids. The art was amazing and easily understood. This book was a wonderfully presented and I enjoyed reading it!
