Wolf Siren
Wolf Siren is a wonderful book about a girl battling her missing grandmother and the expectations of her village. I personally found this book to be OUTSTANDING! I love the descriptions of the woods and how O'Brien can really make the trees feel human. From when I was little, I've always loved nature and everything to do with it, and this book really let me get lost in it. I could put myself in Red's shoes and feel the world around her. I love the illustration style and how the book is long, yet doesn't drag on. I would rate this a straight 10/10 as there is practically nothing I don't love about this book. I felt every heartbreak, every joyous moment and every bit of anger Red could feel. I also find it so interesting yet empowering that O'Brien made Red visually impaired, making you take a whole new perspective on her views of the world. Wolves are shaped out to be this bloodthirsty, vicious creature, made to hunt, but in reality, this book spins that narrative and makes them protectors and a comfort creature to Red. Using Aerona as a role model is also really touching and I was so heartbroken when she passed and how Red immediately blamed herself for her tragic passing. In conclusion, I really loved this book and have no overall negative feedback for this story. Really inspiring work!

Birdie
it was an interesting book and very emotional about your place in life and discrimination and how it feels. I liked the fact that the character, Birdie, is trying to help people or animals and overall its a very powerful story. Would 100% recommend.

Twenty Four Seconds from Now
In my opinion, I like the fact that there were quite a lot of comedic effects in this as it gives this story a funny effect, also the characters in this were genuinely loveable. I would definitely recommend this to others.

Wolf Siren
I thought this book was REALLY good, I loved the part when Aerona was turning into and out of her wolf form. Red is just like me rebellious at home but anywhere else I'm not. I genuinely thought the book was fantastic and I can't put it into words but it was really really good, it was definitely my favourite book so far.

Twenty Four Seconds from Now
This book is phenomenal and I actually liked the format as it keeps reader engaged. Personally for me I read when I am supposed to be sleeping as reading makes me sleepy. I usually read 50 pages a day but for this book I finished it in 2 days and read to page 114 on my first time reading it and then finished the book on day 2. I hope to see more books with the same engaging format from Jason Reynolds.

Wolf Siren
This book is really not really for me as boy because there was a little bit of sexism throughout the book. The plot was AMAZING though and the fact she could transform into a wolf but it was a bit tragic when her sister died (sorry for the spoilers).

Twenty Four Seconds from Now
It was REALLY good, I felt like I was in the book because I had lost myself in the book. I made sure I read it everywhere: in lessons, at home, after-school. I can't describe how the book made me feel, it made me warm every time it got to both Neon's and Aria's parts in the book.

Birdie
The book Birdie is a wonderful, heartwarming story of a young girl's love for a mistreated animal. The whole book is written so you can easily understand both Birdie and the rest of the character's perspectives. I had a wonderful time reading and got my heart shattered and pieced back together a good few times. However, I find the perspective to be slightly outdated, which is both good and bad. This means I cannot fully understand Birdie's morals or thoughts but it makes a great personal history lesson I can pick up and sadly put down. I would give this a solid 9.5/10 as the only problem I have is No.1, having to finish it sadly, No.2, the date of this book is not fully relatable to me and No.3, the way it was written is a bit comedic sometimes, meaning it isn't fully serious even when it should be. In conclusion, Birdie is a great book that really makes you rethink every racist joke you've ever laughed at or brushed off. It truly made me smile and want to cry at times. Would definitely recommend!!

Not Going To Plan
I did not like the format nor the story in general but I like the message it teaches. I would rate it, i would rate it a 4/10.

Wolf Siren
Honestly in my opinion, I didn't exactly like this book because of the fact it has quite a bit of sexism and ignorance of menstruation for women. It just makes me uncomfortable as for me it's a really important time when you start your periods due to it being your first one. However, the plot of the book is really interesting so I feel like some people might like it.

Popcorn
it was very emotional but not relatable for me as it was about someone with anxiety who had a bad day. However, the book was good and it reminds me that after every dark night there is a bright day coming up.

Wolf Siren
This book is a phenomenal read for feminists. It is based on a female's way of showing their true selves instead of the way they are told to conduct themselves. Personally, I found this an amazing read but opinions can differ. Thank you for writing this womanly-independent book Beth O'Brien!!

Ghostlines
It was dull at first as they were introducing each character but the more I read the more I got invested. It was funny and sad because the character showed different emotions at the same time. The main character once laughed and sobbed but just sounded like a pig.

The Boy I Love
The book was really good and I would definitely recommend it to others that like reading this genre. To be honest, I would read it again and again if I could as I would never get tired of it due to the fact that the characters are fun and loveable while the plot is just absolutely amazing as well. The main characters make the story at the start, middle and end of the book just so intriguing to read about their past and love lives together.

Chronicles of a Lizard Nobody
It was very emotional as it was about a lizard who had a very hard life but it shows that there is always hope and good friend for you. Because of this, I really like the book.
