The illustrations were in a really nice style and were over-all really good. But, the story wasn't amazing.

Lost is a book about a polar bear which is far from his home and can't find its way back to the north pole, his home. Several people try to help him by giving him different things like a city train map and coffee but they don't know where he belongs. The illustrations are very good and they show everyone is confused why there is such a huge animal in the city. Also, from the front cover you can see that he looks worried and he is scared if he will ever find his way back. There is also buildings all around him and he feels trapped because you can see his face is worried.

The tree and the river is a wordless book that has a strong meaning. It shows the difference of the world is evolving and that now people are littering and not showing enough care to the environment. The story is very powerful on how the environment is changing and that it is based mostly on the tree and the river, it wants you to look close at the tree and the river.

The Search for the Giant Arctic Jellyfish
I think that this book shows perseverance how the women and her group go on a search for a giant arctic jellyfish but after lots of trying and hard work they eventually get tired and go away.

i think the illustrations are really good because they go well with story. Also the illustrations are really colourful which gives me a happy feeling which makes me want to read it again . Also the wilderness has lots of emotions - i can tell because it has lots of colours.

this book is a very sad one but it has a sad/happy story and a VERY happy ending it is about a bowerbird who is looking for a bride and at the end he finally finds one!!!!! :) :) :)

The illustrations were really good but I didn't like how you could clearly see the jellyfish in every illustration- that was the only thing I didn't like. The illustrations were also really detailed.

This book shows that even if you try really hard for someone it could backfire on you. The illustrations have a big effect and show the work of Bert and that Nanette was very greedy and careless. Also, Claud stole all of Bert's objects and fooled him that he had to get a golden ring for Nanette. Then, a smaller bird came by and liked the only purple flower and went into Bert's bower.

It is a very nice book. It is a picture book and has a happy ending. It is about a tree and a river and it maybe about deforestation or war and what the world might look like in the future when all deforestation is done but we won't let that happen to our precious planet.
