The Playdate
If you are looking for an enticing, interesting and lovely book turn to this book The Playdate. This book has friendship for younger kids and economic inequality and rights and wrongs for older kids. For an example of economic inequality, when the girl (main character) and Henry play with Felix (the dog) on page 7. In the background you can see the mum of the girl bringing a vacuum cleaner up the stairs. And if it were a playdate or hang out for the mums the girls mum should have been talking with the other mum instead of cleaning up her house giving me the assumption that her mum is only going to Henry's house to clean. An example of friendship is on pages 4 - 18 where the girl and Henry are playing together. In my opinion they play really nicely together though at the end we learnt that the girl did a not so good thing of stealing Henry's robot toy. To further explain myself this book has lots of perspectives in life because of economic inequality and friendship. In conclusion, this has been an exciting yet intriguing book. This book also has tons of meaning in the pictures and is very meaningful.

Freedom Braids
I think the concept of writing a picture book for kids about culture is amazing. I really love on the page that shows their journey - it is incredible seeing that the path is in the character's braids.

The Paper Bridge
Are you looking for a book with depth, character and style? Look no further. This book features a unique art style that is done perfectly without a single flaw at all. I think that The Paper Bridge is a great book with character and creativity. It is impossible to think that this was the writer’s first time using that art style because it looked like the work of a professional who had been doing it for years! I loved the illustrations so much. They were so unique and beautiful. The blue and white colour scheme was perfect and connected to the story impeccably. The illustrations alone made me laugh, cry, smile and feel everything the main character was feeling. My favourite illustration was the one where they were inside the Forestlee house because there were so many details. To make that out of cardboard would take me months and the writer managed to make the whole book without giving up. That takes dedication and commitment that is very hard to do. In conclusion, this book has character and is not only an excellent book but a stunning experience. It takes forever to find a book where the illustrations are as good as the story. That means something because the looks of the book are AMAZING! It would be very hard to match the illustrations to the story but this artist does it in style. She has been such a risk taker with this book and that is something alone that should be celebrated. But the quality of each bit of paper is something that cannot be exaggerated enough. It is beautiful, perfect, has a perfect colour scheme and a flawless story. If I was this artist I would have given up after one person. So I really want to thank her for this dedication to make children’s frowns turn upside down. But this book is not only for children this book is something that grown ups can treasure. It is an awesome book that should be treasured if you have a copy.

The Paper Bridge
I think that the paper bridge was a really amazing book to read. My favourite part was when she was went to visit the Elephant brothers to stop the wind from destroying everything in Paperlee. I'm really shocked that this was the first time the author had done kirigami because the kirigami work was amazing. I will definitely recommend this book to read.

The Paper Bridge
I am impressed how the illustrater did kirigami so amazingly even though she said it was her first time doing that style of art. I love how she was such a risktaker trying this art style.

The Endless Sea
I liked that the endless sea was like the author's story about how she moved and it was really hard for her and her family. I really like the watercolours the illustrator used and the drawings she made.

The Endless Sea
This interesting and deep book hooks you in the second you set your eyes on the front cover. I definitely recommend you to read this book if you have it. I thought that The Endless Sea was a very deep and interesting book. In my opinion the book is very deep because behind all the drawings there is a deeper meaning like the use of the colours for the darker the sadder and scarier. And for lighter colours mean happier and light hearted meaning. In addition, colours like the black background for the peep hole with the white popping out for the outline of the rain and port hole. The black background with white port hole is the authors\illustrators favourite page\illustration. I agree about their favourite illustrations because I definitely agree but all the drawings are amazing but that illustration definitely stands out. Now for the interesting part of my first line. I think the book is very interesting because it has lots of deep meaning (connecting to the above) but the first page was already really enticing. From then on the book was as exciting as a rollercoaster that never ends. As well as the fact that the book uses lots of blue because of the sadness but also the little girl who we are hearing her perspective is always normally wearing red. In conclusion the book was overall one of the best books ever!

Wiggling Words
I enjoyed the book very much because I liked the illustrations and the style though I kind of felt bad for the illustrator having to stamp so much.

Wiggling Words
I loved that the book represents about how she feels when she reads a book and how the words are everywhere for her. I also like how it makes a lot of children know that it's more than okay to feel like that.

Wiggling Words
I think the book Wiggling Words really showcased the imagination of Kate Rolfe and it really shows how she deals with dyslexia. I love how she really used her imagination to illustrate, her illustration makes me think about dyslexia and how creative dyslexic people might be. She tells her story wonderfully. The little character is smart, and overwhelmed, but the way the character deals with their emotions is amazingly creative and beautiful. This book left me thinking about how dyslexia changes day-to-day life.

Wiggling Words
I thought that Wiggling Words was a very engaging book. The illustrations were unique and I loved how they were mainly made out of words. I love how the writer tells her own story and expresses her experience with reading growing up. It was a unique, powerful and expressive book. I really felt empathy for the writer and her experience growing up. I love the page where the character realised something and puts the two Bs together. Overall, this book was enjoyable. The writer has a very unique writing style and expresses her experience growing up very beautifully. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting a unique experience and a interesting perspective on reading because this book is an exceptional book for children or adults of all ages.

Wolf Siren
I thought Wolf Siren was a very good book because I like mystery and I liked the ending other than when one of the characters dies.
