I really liked this book, I liked the way the author portrayed the friendships across the island, and I liked the way Albies friendship with Tilda develops and how it shows how hard it can be to be a newcomer or to understand what someone's going through. I would definitely recommend this book probably to someone younger (10-12 year olds) but I did still enjoy reading it even though I'm older.

Popcorn
Popcorn was a bit childish, so it wasn't really my style- but it's got good themes of anxiety of how it describes him of experiencing it. So I think it would be a better book for primary school than secondary aged children.

Not Going To Plan
I absolutely loved this book, it was such a good read I struggled to put it down. I think its a really good balance between it being enjoyable and educating. I loved the fact its written in verse and a dual narrative perspective. I also love the way Fisher literally mapped out the story with the text in parts of the book. I think the characters are all quite different so you can see what is happening through multiple viewpoints which can also help you to learn that different people have different views and none have to be right. I like the way Fisher presents Marnie's pregnancy not in a shameful way but as a learning curve and an opportunity. Over all I think this book was fantastic and I have already recommended it to multiple friends. The only thing I would say to check first as it covers mature themes but I think most people would enjoy it.

Wolf Siren
I personally did not enjoy the fantasy element of the book, however i did think the book was very nicely written and all of the characters had a very developed personality and a intresting backstory . i enjoyed the themes explored in the book and found the commentry on class and power very relevent to current life . Feminism and gender equality played a big part in the novel and i loved how empowerment came into play later in the novel . Despite the plot of the book not being particually appealing to me i did find the writing style very pleasnt and engaging and would definatley recommend especialy if you enjoy fantacy .

Not Going To Plan
i really enjoyed this book because i thought it was very educational and it was also interesting to read because i liked the contrast between Marnie and Zed as it shows two different perspectives. It was really interesting to read a book that talked about more mature themes although i do feel that the whole pregnancy plot was a bit pushed down in some way.

Wolf Siren
Wolf Siren so far is alright I think it represents some struggles we have in our world like how people tell you to follow the path of everyone else. Red is like a lone wolf a bit which I love. It's amazing when in the book when Red is finding out her past and the truth about her family history and the real truth about her village. I don't enjoy some of the fantasy bits it contains.

The Boy I Love
At first I wasn't the biggest fan of this book as it was quite boring but I suddenly found myself really enjoying this book. It was very intriguing as I went further into the story, I would definitely recommend as a slow burner.

Harriet

Birdie
This book is cute and heart-warming, and the main character was very sweet to follow through her story. The writing was slightly lack-luster, but I suppose that's to be expected in a book for a younger audience. Overall, it's a solid 3 star read from me.

Ghostlines
The book is very hard to get into and used "and" too much. It felt there was no plot for the first half of the book and only got interested when they decided to go to the island. It felt like the book was trying to be a fantasy book but failing. 5.5/10 Slow read

Chronicles of a Lizard Nobody
I think that Chronicles of a lizard nobody is an amazing book for all readers young and old although it may seem its for children it carries wisdom for all and it shows lots of adult things in interesting ways such as the "black dog" being a representation of depression and how it can seem as more understanding for children but in hind sight it is a very very VERY funny adventure
