Birdie
It's a really lighthearted and fun book written in a childish tone that tells most of the story just by itself. It explores themes of family and belonging - making you realise who and where you're connected to.

Chronicles of a Lizard Nobody
The book is really good at making you think - and see society from a fresh perspective. It's fun and simple. Probably for younger readers who want to explore deeper themes in a light-hearted way.

Twenty Four Seconds from Now
This is a really good book for someone who wants to find comfort and just relate to someone for a while . It has gentle humour and a great incite into a teenagers normal, realistic, stressful life. 9/10

Not Going To Plan
This is the best book I have read yet (and I am not exaggerating!). It is a short, simple read where you can stop at any point if needed. It shares a story for 2 prospective which really intrigued me. Also, it is very relatable to British children in public school with accurate, updated information such as SLT. Over all it's a 10/10 and if is doesn't win the award, I would be shocked!

Wolf Siren

This book follows a 7th grade student (Andrew Yaeger) through a disastrous picture day, some family stress and OCD+anxiety that all get put into into this spectacular book with its amazing illustrations and humour. I specifically liked the character as he goes through relatable struggles as I can experience.
