Ghostlines
I really enjoyed reading this because I felt I could really connect with Tilda and it was such a heartwarming story that I found myself on Ayrie and wanting to explore. Some sentences felt like it was more of a list as there wasn't much variation in punctuation but I think that it captured Tilda's ten year old mind.

Not Going To Plan
I loved this book! It is really well written super interesting. I 100% will recommend this book but the topic is for around 11+ as it does cover some sensitive topics. Overall probably one of my favourite books I've ever read and I will probably read it again. I rate it a 10/10: it covered a topic which I think is important and it really interested me. It was a great story and I loved reading about the characters' feelings.

Birdie
Quite a thrilling book, exploring the difficulties of a self-proclaimed 'brown' orphaned girl. It's a gripping tale and shows that skin colour is just an aestetic. 9/10.

Chronicles of a Lizard Nobody
It was a good book but I would recommend it to children in lower primary school because it was a light-hearted funny story with a bunch of random aspects to it that just made the story what it is.

Birdie
A good book challenging racism. I liked the development of all the characters and I learnt more about the miners during that period of time.

Wolf Siren
A good book, I enjoyed reading and found the character of Red interesting because I like how she challenged what was expected of her.

The Boy I Love
A really good book that I loved reading. It captured the war and people's lives in it really well. I would recommend it.

Popcorn
A good book, but as an older reader I found it a bit childish. Overall, I would recommend it to a younger audience.

Not Going To Plan
An incredibly good book; the creativity in how the verses were set out is like nothing I've ever seen and I loved it.
