I really enjoy the idea of fairytales with a different ending and this book is an amazing representation of those sort of things. I really enjoyed it!

Chronicles of a Lizard Nobody
I love how this book is such a great mix of humour and the stress that is school. It reminds me of the popular book series diary of a wimpy kid which I also enjoy.

Twenty Four Seconds from Now
This was a good book, though just not really for me.........
However, the morals raised and the storyline behind it were really cool; I thought the way the book was written backwards was ingenious, as giving more meaning and depth to what you just read made the story develop continuously! Jason Reynolds truly knows how to captivate his readers!

Twenty Four Seconds from Now
I am really enjoying this book. I read a lot of romance books and I think that when they include heterosexual relationships it is usually from the female’s perspective. The characters are amazingly put together.

Popcorn
Popcorn is a really good book for age 9+.As the story says everyone has anxiety things happen also children and young teens. The story is close to our real life which is really thoughtful when we are reading it. And it actually gives a lot of suggestion when we are feeling anxiety, which is really good book for me.However, I found out some of the things that the character is anxiety about is actually a bit boring for me, probably because I had already experienced it and I have solved the problem by myself. But it’s a good book for someone that need some suggestion and don’t know how to see the anxiety. If I would score the book out of 10, I will give it 7. And I will absolutely recommend this book to some of my friends and also my brother or some of my cousin who don’t clearly know what is anxiety and how to solve these problems if they are experiencing it.

Twenty Four Seconds from Now
Twenty Four Seconds From Now is a really good love story book it’s special because not like the normal book ,it’s on the boys’ view of love. If, someone really like love story books, I will absolutely recommend this to them and especially for teenagers and young adults. But, I actually found a bit hard to continue reading the story ,probably because the story doesn’t have a lot of plot twists ,not that catchy for someone that rarely read a love story and doesn’t have any experience with it.But it’s a good Love story book!! If I would give this book out of 10 I will give it 6.5.But as what I said, I will absolutely recommend this book to one of my friends who really like to read love stories.

First of all, I’m gonna say that this is probably my favourite book in the shorts list. It’s a book that based on Little Red Hood story but develop it a lot.At the beginning, I actually found that it’s a little bit not that interesting so I’m kind of wanna give up but after I read couple chapters and I found out that the book is so interesting. It’s not like a normal book that has some fun things happened but tell something that can really affecting in our real life and as a person who always think a lot I can say that it’s like a suggestion or a truth of life . it’s a book that not very catchy at the beginning, but after you read it, you will keep thinking about it and you’ll find out how interesting it is.Finally , if I would score it out of 10, I will give it 8. And I would absolutely recommend this book my friends because how thoughtful the story is.

Review: 5⭐📚
I absolutely LOVE this book! After reading some other reviews from other Carnegie shadowers online, I was a bit uncertain, thinking maybe this book wasn't for me. I was so wrong!
From the very first pages, I was completely enthralled and pulled onto the little island of Ayrie and the mini-paradise of Alda Isles. The story begins on a small Scottish island filled with puffins and tourists. This is Tilda’s whole world; a place where everyone knows everyone—small, yet huge at the same time. Tilda, the main female protagonist, loves this miniature world with all her heart. Then Albie arrives, the new boy from the mainland who misses the hustle and bustle of his old life. Tilda is determined to make him love the island just as much as she does. At first, you wonder why she is so concerned about this rude newcomer, until the plot starts to unravel and you realise it isn't truly about him after all. Her older brother Rowan left because he was bored of the small island and Tilda feels it is all her fault. She would do anything to get him back or even see his face again and she promises herself she'll do better this time. In her attempt to "help" Albie, Tilda finds her way into a spot of danger, a new den called the Hideaway, a sprained ankle and lots of vegetable dog toys!
This is a charming book— exciting, exhilarating, and comical. What more could you want ?!!?!!

I really like books which put a slant on fairytales and such so this book looked very interesting. I unfortunately didn’t get to read it in time but hope to read it in future.

I love the fun writing style of this book. I had yet to read a book with the theme of teenage pregnancy but I throughly enjoyed it.

I really like this book, it managed to feel funny and amusing aswell as relatable and comforting! The story had a deep meaning and message that was carried by a series of bad things happening to the character in his journey to get the perfect school picture. I did enjoy it however it did feel a little basic at times. All in all a really nice book that tackled mature themes in a easy to understand way and made me smile!
