After a shortlived visit from her grandmother, she discovers that the wolves aren't the enemies after all: the mayor and his control over the village are. It will be a struggle to prove the wolves' innocence while navigating her own problems and the stigma of the forest amongst the villagers. Along the way, she will find out many dangerous secrets.
