I really liked this book because it was very easy to relate to because I sometimes also struggle reading also the illustrations were very good and you don't have to be dyslexic to relate to this story because everyone can have trouble reading at first the only thing was I think it should be aimed at children slightly older than minimum 4 like maybe it should be 5+ or 6+ but other than that I thought it was amazing! :)

I think i know why this book got into the shortlist! The illustrations in this book are AMAZING as someone who sometimes misses out words in simple sentences i know what this feels like. Thank you to the author for making this book!

It was a good book because when people have dyslexia they feel overwhelmed and the book is showing how they feel because they cant read and the words go everywhere and my friend is dyslexic so she feel included and proud :)

I think this book is a good book for older readers and younger readers who have experianced something simalar to this, but not for 3-5 readers. it is a tale about war and conflict, but is very well writen and well drawn and i would rate it a 7/10

I think it was beautifuly illustrated and loved the story behind how all the pictures of the book. I also realised that it was made of paper and Seng Soun Ratanavanh - the illustrator - shone light on her paper projects to make it look 3d.

the two children are friends and they go to their friends house to play. The kids mum cleans around the house so she might be a cleaner. A very good book for bedtime!

There’s visual humour on every page and a brilliant synergy between words and pictures with a real sense of drama in the book and I would definitely recommend this book because put simply this book is hilarious

I thought that it was an inspiring book and it showed a lot emotion. The pictures are grey at the start - showing the sadness - but in the end when they were safe at home and happy , it showed the joyful, jubilant ending.
