In the book Not Going to plan by Tia Fisher, there is a girl called Marnie and she messes up at school again but this time it got her expelled. At her new school, the only empty seat is next to zed, a nerd with 0 tolerance for mistakes The 2 couldn’t be less alike.All the same, Marnie (amazing at art and spanish but definitely not numbers) and Zed (marvellous at maths and physics but definitely not languages) need each other's help to get their GCSE’s, and their revision sessions turn into a fragile friendship. But when Marnie has sex with a boy who pretended to have a condom, she has to count on Zed’s help.

The book popcorn by Rob Harrell was an entertaining book about a teen ager who has just joined middle school in america who has anxiety and ocd there are everyday issues that the average person will go through day to day school life there were illustrations so then you don't have to rely on your imagination only because you may forget what they look like i would recommend it to young teen agers it also shows what its like to have a panic attack while i have never had one it looks not good. on a scale from one to a ten i would rate this book about a 6 out of ten its a good book.

Twenty Four Seconds from Now
This book was a great read. It showed an interesting story on how 2 teens went through their relationship in a way I haven't seen before. The reverse order of the book definitely makes it stand out from others and it gets the message through on how they tackled their thoughts, stress and other things in their life. Neon isn't like a hero or main character he is more like all the rest of the teens his age. Constantly thinking about what the next best move is and struggles with challenges just like most people his age. This book was a great read and I would recommend it to many people as I personally enjoyed how it was laid out and its story line. A truly great read ⅘ stars

Twenty Four Seconds from Now
24 seconds from now is a love story that features a boy Neon not only falling in love but is experiencing all of the emotions and thoughts that come with a person’s first time . It shows the connections between his family and friends and their advice about his next steps in his relationship with his girlfriend Aria . I enjoyed reading this book from the boys perspective because it showed how boys might think and feeling during a serious relationship . I also like the themes of the book which I would say are love , friendship , bonds and trust . I would recommend this book to a teenage audition and overall I would give this book 4 stars because I like it’s not like any romance book I've read as it's told in reverse and it's very different and unique .

The Boy I Love
The Boy I Love is a heartfelt book about friendship, love, and resilience during wartime. It follows two young men. The boys are in love with each other, while they face world war 1. The book was very engaging and I really enjoyed it because I find war novels interesting . Overall, I really valued this book and would definitely recommend it to my friends as it is very enjoyable to read and I genuinely liked it ! My rating is 4 stars out of 5 because this is the first book I have picked up in a while.

Popcorn
The book Pop Corn is a powerful book. It starts by a boy doubting himself in the mirror and how as he kind of grows he starts to see someone and it gains his confidence.. In my opinion the book is fabulous and has a heartwarming touch towards the end. I would definitely recommend this book to my friends because it's something different. I would give this book 3 stars because it wasn’t the sort of book I’d usually read.

Not Going To Plan
This book is a realistic and interesting story about a girl who moves schools and finds herself in a tricky situation. The story is told from two perspectives focusing on Marnie who’s artistic and navigating school issues, and Zed a smart student who excels in physics but struggles with social life and languages. This proves anyone can be friends if you get to know each other. I would recommend this book to teens who like books about real school life.i would rate this ⅗ because i prefer books with more action.

Chronicles of a Lizard Nobody
Chronicles of a Lizard Nobody is a fun, chaotic, and enjoyable read. It is about the school life of 3 lizards called Zeke, Daniel and Alicia and a blind hawk called miel. In this book the lizards experience challenges of being bullied. There are also the themes of friendship and struggles of family life.This book was really funny especially because Zeke has the entire country of France on his knee. I would recommend this book to anybody, but especially younger children. 4/5.

Ghostlines 
Ghostlines is about a young girl who lives on a small island with her family and a small community. The island gets tourists occasionally however this all changes when a young boy from the city decides to move there during “silent season”. The girl tries desperately to impress the boy leading to them going to the mysterious haunted island. I think this book is very well written and it develops the storyline very well. This book is very good at keeping the reader hooked and wanting to know more about what happens next. I also liked the development of friendship in this book and how they progressively got more comfortable with each other. I also really liked how the author describes the island which really creates a perfect image of the island. However, I would recommend this book to younger readers because I think it has more topics that they would enjoy. Overall, I would give this book a 4.

Birdie
Birdie is a book about a girl who struggles to fit in and finds an unlikely friend in a pony. I enjoyed the plot of the book and I liked some of the characters. I also liked how Birdie had many friends with different types of friendships, I think they should have explored her relationships with them more though. Overall I thought the book was enjoyable but It isn’t the kind of book I would usually read. I would recommend this book to students around year 7 because it has quite simple language and a lighthearted story. I give this book a 2.5 out of 5.

Wolf Siren
Wolf Siren is a fantasy book about a girl called red, who loves the woods and learns a life changing secret after her grandmother goes missing. When I read this book I didn't want to put it down as every page lured me closer in. I loved the fact that the entire woods was filled with magic. The way Red learned about the history of the wolves and how they are misunderstood, caused suspense throughout the book. This book is filled with tragedy and happiness, letting the contrast flow amazingly. I would rate this book 5 stars, and would recommend it to anyone over the age of 10 who loves fantasy books.

Not Going to Plan is a book about a girl called Marnie who falls pregnant due to a one night stand and her friend Zed who is helping her make the right choice. I believe that this book is very thought provoking since it puts into perspective how something like this story can happen and it highlights the realism of the novel. I also really enjoyed Zed and Marnie’s friendship developing into one where they could trust each other and stand by each other even when a serious challenge faces them. I would recommend this book to young teenagers since I did really enjoy this book. Also I would rate this book a 5/5 since I was never bored of reading it and the story was really intriguing.

Twenty Four Seconds from Now
24 Seconds From Now is a romance novel telling the story of Neon and Aria's relationship in reverse. I loved the timeline of this book and how it was written from the males perspective instead of the females as it usually is. I like how honest this book is and how it shows the vulnerability of the characters and captures teenage love beautifully. I would recommend this book to every teenager going through their first serious relationship as it is very insightful. 5/5

Chronicles of a Lizard Nobody
I thoroughly enjoyed the chronicles of Lizard Nobody because I thought it was a light hearted book about a serious topic and it was done really well. The protagonist Zeke is a monitor lizard and is told to be a hall monitor with his friends, as they did this the antagonist Pelicarnassus fat shamed Zeke and made Zeke attack him. The story was well crafted and thought about and I had a lot of fun reading it and would recommend this to people who want a better idea on how mental health works without having to be too serious about it. This book is definitely aimed towards younger people but it is still a great read for all ages. Overall I would rate this book a 4.5/5 stars as this is one of the best books I've read since year 7.
