Lord of the Flies: The Graphic Novel
I really enjoyed reading Lord Of The Flies Graphic Novel as someone who struggles to stay focused on one book. But I felt it was entertaining because its not just words, its bright pictures too and you get more of an idea of how it would of been if you were there and how scared the children were.I love how on the blurb it states "orphaned by society" because it makes the reader sympathetic as orphaned tends to be associated with alone and abandoned.I loved how it has the before the island and after at the back which shows they have been there for a long time as you can tell from hair growth and more.

Wolf Siren
The cover was what first drew me to this books.
This is a great retelling of the classic that is Little Red Riding Hood. It has been given a new lease of life and relevance with it's themes of empowerment, what it means to be a woman (menstruation) all while it tackles important topics like gender roles in society.
I love that Red has a visual impairment, I think that this is great representation that isn't in many books. The fact that it can be linked back to the original classic and explains why the wolf was mistaken for grandma, Makes it believable.
This was a beautifully written, exciting read. I will definitely be recommending to other readers.
