I really liked this book, it was interesting to see the main characters changing over the years and how that showed their story lines grow. I loved seeing the book being written from four different perspectives as it’s nothing like i’ve read before.

I really liked reading the book. It not only covered serious topics but also showed how young people would feel and the troubles they would face when having new responsibilities. I believe that Mel faced a very important decision that would effect her life heavily and had a lot of stress because after all she was carrying a baby and she was still in her high school years, risking not only her future in education but also her relationships with family and friends.

The Final Year
The Final Year by Matt Goodfellow is a story told in poems about a boy named Nate in his last year of primary school. He goes through changes with friends and worries at home. I think it’s a thoughtful and easy-to-read book that shows what growing up can feel like.
