The Final Year
This is one of my favourite books because it is quite interesting. I like the great use of poems in the story and the fact that many things have changed since the end of Year 5 makes it fun to read because of the various different things happening and the issues that get resolved. Nate and Dylan's characters particularly stood out for me.

The Final Year
I found 'The Final Year' by Matt Goodfellow amazing, with ties with brotherhood, life, death, SATs and friendships. It recounts the final year of Nate's time at primary school where Mr Joshua, a new teacher, teaches this class.
After disaster strikes, Nate needs his friends the most, but will he be there for him?
