Treacle Town
I found this book a bit heavy on the language. Often books contain the odd spot of language but this was very intense. If I were to offer this book to anyone I would say adults/older teenagers as some of the content is not for younger people. However the story was good I would just have written it with less language.

King of Nothing
This book was very entertaining with several aspects of it including how reputations don't always mean their important and how people learn over time and over long periods this book highlights how friendship is better than Popularity

The Final Year
i personally found the book difficult to read especially due to the poetry like format of it, I believe this could be rectified by adding certain chapters in a original book format to give context and provide some resemblance of a linear story. Although I did find the premise of the story quite compelling and could be developed into a insight into a young persons mind, the author had good intention but it takes a stubborn reader to finish that book.

I thought this book was amazing! I would highly recommend it as it is an insight into the struggles that many young people face and the lack of help they are given. It has many emotional ups and downs, and had me completely hooked into the character's stories. Luke Palmer makes you feel like you know the characters and the emotions it draws out are intense and strong. I love how the story switches between three of the characters ( plus the twist in events at the end!) and you can see the journey the four characters face. This highlights problems in society that we need to face and shows how many young people find their way into the endless cycle and trap of drugs. It is a really powerful story which I definitely recommend! It also highlights the struggles of LGBTQ+ and the struggle young people face in showing their personality.

The Final Year
I enjoyed this book, I like how it was about a boy's life but in the style of poem. It was sad how his brother was in hospital after having a heart disease.

Treacle Town
The book was a overall accurate facinating tale, that resonated with the more obscured side to our british isles, i found it compelling and emotional .although i found certain aspects of the language and mannerisms to be a bit overdone although this may be intentional. the only other issue i found with this book was that the first dozen pages seemed a bit dry and uninticing but overall the book was marvelous and really showed what one can achieve even if the situaution was not perfect.
