The Search for the Giant Arctic Jellyfish
I really liked this book because the pictures are wonderful and very colourful with many different things to find in all the pages of the book. They went on a mission to find the arctic jellyfish which nobody had ever seen. They weren’t able to find it until the very end of the book. I rate this book 10/10 with a bonus point for the pictures,

The Song Walker
The Song Walker is a very interesting and mysterious book. At the beginning a girl is in a very hot, dry desert with nothing to eat and she doesn’t know how to get home. This book will urge you to read on. I give it 8/10 stars.

The Wilderness
Reading The Wilderness was a pleasure because it dives into a magical place and shows you that you can overcome your fears and do things that you weren’t able to do. It tells you that you should never give up on what you love or judge others based on what you see in a book or what others tell you. I recommend this to ages 3-9 and give it 5 stars*****

The Midnight Panther
The Midnight Panther is a phenomenal book because it teaches young children, teenagers and adults to have courage in yourself and your place in the world. The little black panther is not like the other cats, so everyone should embrace themselves. Overall, this book really intrigued and caught my attention. The illustrations are magnificent and unique. I give this 5/5 stars.

The Tree and the River
The Tree and the River is a wordless picture book that reflects how humans have adapted over time. Like Charles Darwin, I think the author believes in evolution.
The book images how the battle between humans and nature is everlasting. For instance, on the front cover there are two sections reflected. The first represents how the world was before humans. You can see only nature: animals, trees, you can see the sky is blue and beautiful and the air is fresh. However, the second half of the front cover shows what the world looks like after humans arrived. There are buildings and factories. You can see a plane flying over them. The air looks polluted and the sky looks dull. There is only one tree.
I give this book 5 stars *****

April's Garden
April’s Garden is a good book to teach children that good things will happen but it takes patience for that to happen. A quote from the book is Every Cloud has a Silver Lining.

To the Other Side
To the Other Side is an amazing book with a fascinating story to tell. On the front cover it may seem like a colourful children’s book but when you take a look inside it’s a whole lot different. I wouldn’t recommend it for younger children; mainly because of the pictures inside. It tells the story of a young boy and his sister escaping from monsters. The monsters aren’t real - they represent the dangers that refugees face in their countries. I give it 5 stars *****
