Lost
I really liked the part where a girl finds the bear and takes it home and finds a book on where the bear lives.

Finley

To the Other Side
The book was very good. I like it when the sister said the rules are simple but not for the little brother and they said it was a game but it wasn’t. I like that the sister helped him.

The Search for the Giant Arctic Jellyfish
I love the book illustration as it’s like a where’s wally and it goes from light 💡 to dark 🖤. I like how there are so many hidden features that if you skim read it you couldn’t find them all. I like on the 6th and 7th page there are so many hidden features in the boat.

Sophie

The Bowerbird
I love the Bowerbird because he is so nice but the bird he's trying to impress is greedy and just wants more I think it's a lovely book and woold definitely recommend it to other people. I think the illustrations are very unique and they look very cool. at times it makes you feel bad for the bird but at the end the book make feel really happy for him.

Dorothy

April's Garden
I really liked Aprils garden because I found that the illustrations told a story themselves. When the drawings were coloured, dark colours it set a dismal mood in the readers mind, when the pictures were in bright colours it set a cheerful mood in the readers mind.

Lost
I liked the detail in the pictures and the way that the polar bear acts like a person in the pictures, while he is lost. He is acting like everything is quite normal but he really should be in a snowy land. This is a lovely book for young children

Steady for This
10/10 I really like 'Steady for this' because it was so funny but some parts was really sad like when we found out Siobhan's mum was disabled. It was sad when they moved but, probably the best part of the book was when the dirty laundry exposed and when he wins and they get to keep the house.

The Tree and the River
I liked this book, because there are not to many words and no hard words. I thought the pictures were brilliant. My favourite bit was the ending when she turns back goes no and then she finds the jellyfish.

Theo

To the Other Side
I really liked the colourful masks in this book but I didn’t really understand the story and I didn’t know it was about refugees until the end.I think older children will understand it better.

Max

The Wilderness
I enjoyed this book because the illustrations were lovely . I would recommend this book for 5 to 8 year olds.

The Search for the Giant Arctic Jellyfish
This book was very interesting because I enjoyed the adventure. The pictures were very detailed and helped me understand the story. I really liked the font of the writing and the capital letters in the text.

The Search for the Giant Arctic Jellyfish
I enjoyed this book because they were trying to find the jellyfish and he was hiding and kept poking his head out from his hiding place.I definitely would recommend reading this book because it’s a nice story to read about different Artic animals and Dr Morley’s dream to see the giant artic jellyfish.I have read this book over and over again and really enjoy it!

The Tree and the River
I really liked it, as I loved the way it changed over the years. It’s makes me think of history from the Stone Age to now. It made me think about how the city changed the world and how we need to look after the world.

Theo

To the Other Side
The story was nice but I think that the moral of the story was hidden too much. I like how they all wear masks. My younger sister really enjoyed it because of the boy in the end of the story has a cute mask. I would recommend this to younger children in key stage 1.

William

The Bowerbird
I really like this book because it rhymed and it was interesting to learn about the bowerbird. It was sad at first because he wanted a wife but the ending was happy when he found one. I think other children will love this book because of the colourful pictures.

Max

Lost
