Lost
I love the calm colours and the story. It really has a meaning to people who are immigrants. I love the cartoony beautiful sketches.

Hugo

Lost
a heartwarming story about how anything can be done when you have friends- even getting to the north pole. younger readers would definitely enjoy it more due to the warm and cute illustrations.

The Wilderness
Now, you must pay very close attention to this review. If you don't, you. Could. Get. LOST. Now don't make any noises that mean: I'm scared, frightened and a little bit cold.

This is an incredible book about finding the wonder within yourself. Because I love cats and I love stories about self empowerment, I give this story ten out of ten!

The Tree and the River
I think this book is about the circle of life and how nature and civilization can thrive in unison, together instead of one or the other. The tree and the river are the building blocks of the civilization and they should be able to live in harmony.

hugo

The Tree and the River
This is a lovely story of life moving forward and there are no words in it as there are no words to describe how wonderful the illustrations are. I also love on the front cover there are trees and nature but in the reflection there is a city were the trees and nature are.

Delilah

The Tree and the River
A beautiful book, about growth, life and rebuilding. The tree was always there, sitting beside the river, and even when the tree dies, it creates another one, which a new civilization grows around. It was an interesting detail that the reflection in the river, on the front cover is the advanced civilization, where the real image is before the civilization appeared.

The Tree and the River
I loved all the illustrations, everybody in my group had different idea about what happened. it was very sad but I loved it!

Astrid

April's Garden
it was lovely and touching in a beautiful way

April's Garden
A lovely, heartfelt story about never giving up hope. The ending seems like it would be dark, but everything ends up "happy" in the end. It's interesting how the illustrations reflect the mood of the story. For example: at the saddest time, the story is in black and white, but at the most upbeat, there is only one word on the page: "happy". 9.5/10 stars.

Rapha

April's Garden
The illustrations in this book were absolutely superb they were so moving, I felt like crying at the End the flowers were so brilliant i thought five illustrators drew them.

Astrid

The Bowerbird
This is a heartfelt story of love and betrayal. I also loved the illustrations and it made me feel sad, angry and joyful. But at least Bert found his soulmate who was OK with just the pretty, purple flower.

Delilah

The Bowerbird
A very sweet story with even sweeter illustrations these magnificent illustrations are so lovely with so many hidden bits. I loved especially the "pretty purple flower "! These illustrations by Catherine Rayner really bring Julia Donaldson's words to life!

Astrid

The Bowerbird
The Bowerbird is an amazing book with equally amazing illustrations. Catherine Rayner has done amazing things with this small picture book with a large plot. She manages to pack so many expressions into Bert's face. This was also aided by the fact that the angel/fairy has it's own set of expressions. An amazing book with amazing illustrations.
